Casey's Home

In
the summer of 1974, I was in the process of divorcing my husband.
I needed to love and be loved by someone. This is when Casey
entered my life. I was hesitant in getting him, due to an
experience with our mini dachshund, Marlana. I was eight years
old when Marlana had gotten out of our house. She was run over,
then came and died in my lap. Being Casey was a standard, I took
the chance. One I have never regreted. My family helped as much
as they could in comforting me, but there were time's when no one
could help. This is when Casey would come up, climb in my lap and
would give me a kiss. With the expression in his eye's, he was
telling me that everything was going to be alright. This is when
I realized what Unconditional Love was all about. The little guy
was right. Even tho I experienced tough time's before, during ,
and after the divorce the sun came out again.

Casey
never liked his picture to be taken. He always had a frown. I was
fortunate to capture the above picture, as I gave it to my father
for Christmas.

You
Know the old saying. A picture is worth a 1,000 words. Need I say
more?
