"To respect our elders is to honor
our ancestors"
Vern Twowolf
"We respected our old people above
all others in the tribe.
To live to be so old, they must have
been brave and strong,
and good fighters, and we aspired
to be like them.
We never allowed our old people to
want for anything...
We looked upon our old people as
demi-gods of a kind,
and we loved them deeply. They were
all our fathers."

O'siyo My Friends
Let me say from the start this is
not your usual web page. Rather it is a platform where those who can not
be heard are yet heard through the voices of those who can be heard. I
believe in honoring my ancestors I must first honor and respect my elders.
Thereby setting an example for the young ones to follow. I would ask any
and all is this not a part of the old ways? There is nothing wrong in returning
to the blanket. I am a tsalagi warrior but I am also a man of peace and
love. I desire peace and harmony above all things, but beware to those
who would destroy that peace and harmony. And to those who would disrespect
their ancestors by preying on our elders. It is those who will find themselves
old some day and then what? Like another of the real peoples long ago called
Tecumseh, I am calling to all the real peoples for help and unity in protecting
our elders. Please heed the call this time my brothers and sisters.

grateful)
