Ann Rohland Dickey
My great-grandfather was John James Rohland, Sr. He was born 12-3-1822.I don't know where he was born. He married Catherine Pell in Sept. 1856. Their first child, William B., was born in Winfield, PA in Dec. 1857. All their children were born in Winfield, PA. Have the names of their 9 children. John James, Sr. is the furthest back I can find. If you could help with any information, I would appreciate it.

Looking for information on Alexander R. Rowland m. Mattie Geohaugen in 1878 and their children. They lived in Hamburg, MS area of Franklin Co., MS. Alexander was the son of Solomon Bartlett Rowland and Sophia Compton of
Jefferson County, MS. Info on Alexander's brothers, Stephen Whitney Rowland and Otis F. Rowland also needed.

My father was Charles Joseph Rowland, married to
Carol Elizabeth Londhair in 1953. His father was Frank, possibly Francis, wife was Helen Anna Cooper. Grandfather was Timothy. I am sure all resided
in Rochester, N.Y. except Timothy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Joseph ROWLAND b. 1821 Tenn
m. Martha ??? in 1843. Had a son, James C., b. 1845 - brought family to Titus Co., Texas before 1850. He is in that census.
I can't find a family he fits into or what Co. in Tenn he and his son were born.

Sylvester and Fanny (CHADWICK) ROWLAND had a dau. Clarissa Anne, who married a SNIDER/SNYDER (his first name might have been William, and he MIGHT have died in 1873). She had at least one child, Juliet, b. abt. 1838, NY.
Looking for Clarissa Anne and descendants, or any census info that pertains. I do not not where she lived, but suspect somewhere in Ohio.
Sylvester's other children were Juliette, b.1814, CT, d.1893 Erie Co.,OH, (m. Isaac KLADY)and Wm.James ROWLAND(1816-1900)also of Erie Co.,OH. Sylvester moved to Erie Co. in 1845 from Livingston Co., NY. He was originally from Lyme, CT. Also seek info on his sisters, Sally b.1786, and Fanny b.1789, or other siblings, children of Nathaniel and Hannah

Dr. John Rowland
Looking for information. Thomas Rowland, born in the Scranton, PA area in late 1880s. He worked for the US Post Office in NE PA. He had several brothers and sisters, but most died young during flu epidemic. Lawerence Roland (dropped w) also lived in NE PA and worked for US Post Office. Both died in mid to late 1950's. The son of Thomas Rowland was Thomas (b 1921) (died 1979) in Maryland. He had 1 son and 1 daughter. He was school teacher and US Marine Pilot (WW2 and Korean War).
