He married Melissa Jane Miller in Carter County Tennessee, and they had five children. Melissa died at a young age. John then married her sister Martha Catherine Miller. They had five more children. |

Susan Taylor Orne was married to Richard (Dick ) Orne. He died at the mountain cabin of a heart attack while hunting with family members.
Even though Susie was my moms first cousin, I always called her Aunt Susie. I spent countless hours at their house with Norma. We were cousins, but also great friends. Richard used to give us both a hard time... All in jest of course.
Susie also had another daughter, Lorraine. She was killed in a car accident less than a mile from her mothers house in 1959. she left a husband and three little girls. |
