A Little Country Lane

Offside of the old dirt road
just betwixt the bridges;
Where a couple of boys fish barefoot
while sittin' on red clay ridges,
You must be of a watchful eye
to search the fields of grain;
To find a wee, but well-worn path --
a little country lane!

Your journey will be most pleasant
the birdhouses will blow your mind;
And Jennifer just LOVES company
her talents, you'll soon find,
And when the time indeed is late
that you MUST get going;
Jen will bid your journey safe
with friendship overflowing!
