My thoughts and teachings are subdivided in to four topics: (a list of topics on which I have taught already is available)
The festivals of Israel from a Messianic perspective.
All the Jewish holidays that are in Lev 23 will be examined. For each holiday, I hope to have an Messainic explanation and in some a selection of images and in a few some liturgy will also be presented. In explaining the holidays we will examine its religious and / or historical significance; and discuss the laws, customs, and rituals surrounding its observance, but perhaps most importantly how Yeshua has fullfilled or will fulfill them. By reading these texts alongside their respective images, it is hoped that one will gain an understanding of the Jewish holidays within their Messianic Jewish context.
This section does not present every Jewish holiday in the calendar year. As a result of limits of time and space, it is not possible to form an exhaustive list of all the events. Consequently, I have chosen to concentrate on the Jewish holidays in Lev 23, i.e. the holidays which have the greatest historical & religious significance for the Jewish people. In addition, it should be noted that the length of the texts and the number of images selected for each holiday has nothing to do with the importance of that holiday in the Jewish calendar year.
