1) Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love
toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.
Sin separates us from God. God's Peace and Eternal Life are lost because of our sins.
2) Romans 5:12 (KJV) Wherefore, as by one man
sin entered into the world, and death by
sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that
all have sinned:
3) Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
God has provided a gift of New Life. This Life is in Jesus Christ.
4) Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
You can have this Life! This Life is made available through Jesus Christ.
5) Romans 5:1 (KJV) Therefore being justified
by faith, we have peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ:
6) Romans 5:21 (KJV) That as sin hath reigned
unto death, even so might grace reign
through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus
Christ our Lord.
7) Romans 10:9 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
8) Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call
upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved.
9) Romans 10:10 (KJV) For with the heart man believeth
unto righteousness; and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation.
10)
Father in Heaven I have sinned against you and against
your word. Please forgive me for my sins. Wash me and
make me clean. I believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for
my sins and rose again from the dead. Come into my heart
Lord Jesus. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Make me the
Christian you want me to be and I will live for you forever.
Amen.

"Sin" is any thing we do wrong. There are no degree's of sin, big or
little a sin is a sin. A little white lie is a sin just the same
as murder is a sin. So, you see, we all sin in one way or another. God
cannot allow sin of any kind into heaven because it doesn not meet the
absolute standard of righteousness ("rightness") set forth by Himself.
The character of God
Himself is this standard of righteousness and is enumerated in the
Ten Commandments.
Definition of DEATH:
"Death" is defined as separation. In the spiritual sense this separation
is from God and His
eternal comforts for all eternity.
Definition of SAVED:
The term "saved" describes the means by which we can avoid eternal separation
(death)
from God . A persons salvation is activated, so to speak, through their
public confession of
Jesus Christ as their personal savior and a sincere belief that God
has provided a
substitutionary payment for their sins through the death and resurrection
of Jesus Christ
(see Romans 10, verses 9 and 10, above).
Now, of course, Christ's work on the cross has satisfied the justice
of God. Why is this?
Because when you believed in Christ, your were imputed with His righteousness!
Your
righteousness is "as filthy rags" in human terms. It is not sufficient
to have fellowship with
God. However, when Christ bore our sins, and God the Father judged
them, Christ paid the
penalty of sin for us. The Father is satisfied with the work of Christ.
Hence, when we believe
in Christ, the Father is satisfied with us, as we have divinely imputed
righteousness. This is
not our righteousness, it is the perfect righteousness of God. God
is now free to provide love
and grace for us.
As far as Hell goes, besides the often heard but true point that "Perfect
God only executes a
perfect judgment", the main thing to remember is this: The perfection
of the torment of Hell
only clarifies in the mind of the human being the reality of its presence,
and the total
inexcusability of going there. To make Hell any less of a punishment
would be to muddy the
issue of exactly what Hell is, and to actually provide a means in which
a far more significant
number of humans would decide against God.
People tending towards a bias against God, when faced with a kind of easy going punishment, (or none at all) might have the tendency to say "I'd rather be away from God, and go party with my friends over in that barren place". But when faced with the complete suffering of Hell, that same person has entirely different thoughts. The decision is made much easier with this in mind. Therefore, Hell actually becomes a statement of God's love!
In other words, God is actually making it possible
for more people to experience being with
Him in heaven eternally, whereas if the punishment
were much less, far fewer people would
experience Heaven, and eternal bliss. And, as
I have said before, Hell clarifies the decision.
You now have no excuse. You
go to Hell by your own decision. To say
to God " I will
not take one micro-second of my life to believe
Christ died for my sins. I will not accept the sacrifice that Christ personally
made for me, and I reject that sacrifice." is to condemn yourself. It
is utterly, and completely inexcusable.
