IN LOVING MEMORY OF TIFFANY ANN SNELL
An Innocent Victim of a Drunken Driver

[angelright.gif] "A special life has passed from our sight .. but never from our hearts.

The world has lost a warm & loving person who made a special difference every day. Yet all those seeds of love so gently planted leave blossoms that will never fade away."

MEMORIALS TO OUR ANGEL

"On Friday night before the accident, Katie saw Tiffany at a gas station. They talked & hugged and Tiffany said they'd get together sometime. Katie said Tiffany treated her like they'd never been apart. That's the kind of girl she was .. very friendly & loving. Katie feels extremely privileged & greatful for seeing Tiffany that night. And Tiffany had written Katie a couple of times after Katie changed schools, because Katie was lonesome and going through an adjustment. Nobody else did that. I thought you'd like to know." - Linda D.

"Tiffany touched the hearts & souls of so many people - she will never be forgotten, and she will always be loved. We are so sorry for the loss of such a beautiful girl!" - Jo & Treavor

(Amanda E. is a very special friend of Tiffany's and a beautiful person. She's a special education student and she can always cheer me up. She tells me...) "I remember when I first met Tiffany. I was in the girl's bathroom crying & Tiffany sat down to talk with me and told me that she'd be my friend. I told her that she couldn't,... because I am 'handicapped'. Others had told me that was the reason they couldn't be "my friend". But Tiffany said that she could still be my friend .. that it didn't matter. I didn't think she understood, so I told her all the bad things about me. And Tiffany said...., 'So what are the GOOD things about you?' I didn't know. So Tiffany told me the 'good things' about me! And she was right,... I KNEW those were good things about me! But I had never thought about it before. And I don't know how she knew what the "good things about me" were...because we had just met!" - Amanda E.

"You don't know who we are but we knew your daughter & wanted you to know that she was the friendliest, smiling teenager. She was a good friend of my son, Jason's, and I spoke with her several times on the phone. Jason's dad had told me many times what a nice girl she was. She would call for Jason, & just carry on a conversation with his dad, asking him how his farming was going & that she lived on a farm too. We saw her a lot at the stock car races. When she wasn't trophy queen she would always come up & sit by Jason and visit with all of us. My husband's son, Rocky had his picture taken with her several times with his Bomber car. I just had to say what a truly nice young lady she was." - Tracie E.

"I enjoyed playing basketball with Tiffany in the sixth grade. She was always so nice to me when I didn't feel so welcomed there. She is in good hands now. .. Know that she had a lot of friends and will be greatly missed. God bless!" - Jodi H.

"Tiffany had a way of brightening my day with her beautiful smile. I will miss her." - Mike W.

"Our hearts are broken. Tiffany was such a wonderful girl. ..always kind & considerate. .. with a keen sense of fairness & compassion. She was a giver of gifts & of herself. She never knew a stranger & never failed to extend her hand as well as her heart.
We will miss her infectious smile .. her popping in and out to up-date us or to just say "Hi"! We'll miss the "Beep-Beep" of her horn as she passed by.
We will never ever forget Tiffany. If I had one wish it would be to tell her we love her and how much we will always cherish the friendship we shared." - Tom, Mem & Gordy Z.

(Jason was engaged to Tiffany's sister, Lynnette, at one time. None of us had a chance to meet Jason, but Tiffany got to know him through letters and on the phone. He wrote Lynnette...) "I have been doing a lot of thinking about Tiffany. It has really affected me and I cannot explain it. I used to think that attainment of personal happiness was through self, but Tiffany showed me that others are important too. She seemed to try even when rejected.
I didn't really know Tiffany, yet she constantly wrote & talked to me as if I actually had become her brother. She was genuinely hurt when I became unresponsive to her over the phone and I never could understand such affection for me when we never actually met face to face.
She affected me greatly in the fact that she actually acknowledged me in the time when I outcasted myself in Florida. She wrote and called me a couple of times and I never could quit understand and I never think I ever will. But I will tell you that I actually miss this person I never met.
I could never be this type of person and actually I don't feel that such openness is the right way to live. Yet her openness affected and helped me when I needed it the most. How could such an individual know at such a young age how to deal with people so well.
I miss the fact that when I call she will not be there to pick on me. Also, the fact that she had all these plans for me if you and I ever got back together. (like water and snow sking, sailing, and other outdoor activities.) She was a great individual and I wish I had a chance to meet her. I miss her." - Jason S. (written to Tiffany's sister)

"We'll miss her a lot." - Arnie

"You were very nice to me" - Nick

"I didn't know you, but I'll sure miss your beautiful smile." - Love, Tom E.

"Tiffany was special to our little Andy. She would always rollerskate with him when they both were at the resort. They just had this "little thing" going on between them. He'd always grin from ear to ear when he saw her and she acknowledged him. Just wanted you to know." - Barb V.

"I am having a hard time writing this, my emotions are getting the best of me. Tiffany was a good friend to me. And she always considered me a friend of hers. (Which meant a lot to me.) your family is a very loving family and a close one too." - Bobby B.

"Our boys knew Tiffany and are saddened by her passing. Tiffany is one of the bright stars in the evening sky!" - Dave & Pat D.

"I will always remember how happy she was, and what a great friend she was to Chris." - Colleen A.

(Tiffany had decided at the last minute not to go on her classes' 8th Grade trip. Amanda tells me...) "I called my mom from "camp" and asked her to come get me. I had a room by myself and none of the girls wanted to "room" with me. But instead, my mom called Tiffany, because she knew that if Tiffany was there, that she would room with me. Tiffany came, even though it was late and moved into my room. Then two other girls joined us! I'm glad I got to stay .... It turned out that I had a lot of fun on the trip!" - Amanda E.

"I didn't really know Tiffany as well as I would have liked, but just the last Friday I saw her, I noticed her "Junior Miss" jacket, and I thought to myself, "Wow, she's perfect for that. She is such a beautiful and talented, personable young woman." .. I have Tiffany in my heart, and I will always remember her as a brilliant, talanted girl, and the beautiful person I saw." - With Love, Gina J.

"Your "Precious Angel Tiffany" radiated so much love & warmth. All who had the joy of knowing her were blessed & we feel doubly blessed because we were able to work with her." - Lillian & Terri

"It's so hard for us to understand how someone so full of life, productive & loving can be gone from your life .. We have heard so many expressions of what a wonderful & beautiful child she was." - Joani & Denny Y.

"The special thing about Tiffany was that she never spoke ill of anyone. And she never told people about all the kind things she did. She would bake cookies and take them to the old folk's home and talk with the people there. And after I had taken her to my aging mother's apartment with me once, she would stop off and visit there by herself. She will be missed. She was always an "Angel". - Mem Z.

"Our worth is measured not in the years we've lived, but the love we've left behind."
