My name is Lori. I am 40 years young. I have six children. (YES! SIX! It's hard to believe sometimes!) Only five of those children live with me. Ryan, my son, is currently residing with his former foster parents, who are now his adopted parents. Anyone who has given up a child for adoption knows how hard that choice is, but in my case it was the right one.

I am a survivor of domestic violence and an advocate on prevention of domestic violence. To learn more about DV, visit HERE
NO ONE should be mistreated in anyway. Many people think that in order for them to be consider abused you have to be struck in some way. But there are other kinds of abuses. The link above discusses those.

I am currently a student through Education Direct I am taking classes to become a veternarian assistant. I love animals, and would love to work with them on a daily basis. :)

I love the Backstreet Boys! As silly as it may sound to some of you, I love their music. Their music helped me get through a very tough time. Especially when my mother passed away in 2000. "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely" really struck home for me.

I love to do anything outdoorsy. Especially horse back ride!

I love to read mystery, suspense, and romance novels. I'm also into Dr. Phil's self help books. (Hey, we can ALL use alittle improving).

Right now I am currently single, and looking for the love of my life. I had a not so great marriage, which ended in divorce in 2000. And really thought that I was in love with Isabel's daddy, Nathan. He is 15 years younger than I. I wanted so much more then what he was ready to give. I am ready to move on, and find someone new.
