Welcome to the Handweavers WebRing!

This WebRing is set up so that you can come visit many sources of quality handwoven items as possible. These fiber artists produce lovely items for the most discriminating customers around the world. They sometimes raise their own animals, whose fleeces are spun into yarn as either 100% one fiber source, or blends of many unique fibers. This is not always the case. Some weavers live in small apartments in large cities and purchase their yarns that are then turned into beautiful finished products for a multitude of end results.

To be listed and to join this WebRing, there are three basic criteria.

For your convenience, I have placed the submission form on this page. Upon filling out this form, you will be placed in a "queue", which is a holding area. I will then go to work making sure your web site meets the criteria listed above.

While I am checking your site, you need to be getting the ring fragment in place. You can sit in the queue up to 2 weeks before being bumped out. I will notify you within 4 days should there be a problem with your site in reference to the ring criteria, and you have 2 weeks to get the ring fragment in place.

Should there be any problems or difficulties in getting your HTML fragment up on your site, do not hesitate to write. There are no guarantees that I can solve your specific problems, but so far I have not lost a single web site submission due to inability to get the site fragment functional. Please notify me by e-mailwhen you have your fragment in place. That will speed the process along. Now you can relax and just watch your counter work away.

You will need to place a HTML fragment of code on your web page. I have placed a sample of what that fragment will look like below for your information. Upon submission of your site, copy the HTML fragment and insert it into your home page. When you are finished, it should look like this one, with your name in the "owned by" area and your e-mail address inserted. That section allows for e-mail to be sent to you personally from people visiting your site in the ring. I have enhanced the ring by putting it into a table format. If you have questions, please feel free to e-mail me for additional details.

When entering your HTML code, please insert your own e-mail address in the --mail-- comment area as well as your name in the --name-- area and your personal id number, as given to you by the ring "computer". Remove the hyphens and the words within them in your fragment. There is also a page on the web ring location that will be listed on your confirmation letter. It has the completed fragment that will require no cutting, pasting, or other re-typing.

The following web sites have decided to join this ring. We look forward to adding your site to these.
