An Adoptee's Journey

"In All Of Us There Is A Hunger, Marrow Deep, To Know Our Heritage, To Know Who We Are, And Where We Have Come From. Without This Enriching Knowledge, There Is A Hollow Yearning, No Matter What Our Attainments In Life, There Is A Most Disquieting Loneliness."

              Alex Haley

Welcome to my website, An Adoptee's Journey. It feels to me that it is 'rare' that male adoptees search for their birth families. I want to be wrong! It is my hope that this site might encourage more males to start their search and eliminate this 'rareness'. For whatever reason, we males don't tend to search like our female counterparts. As a male adoptee, I have decided to share some of my feelings regarding this process. This is not a fancy site, but just one that I hope will encourage you in getting started. Please start, there is a lot of support out there. To the number of birth mothers out there who have contacted me, lets keep our fingers crossed & have those dreams of yours met. I would be remiss not to mention birth fathers. Please, take the plunge, & search. I would love to find mine! Please click on the 'NEXT' buttom below to get a sense of my feelings & story in this quest. Feel free to share this with your friends and family. Thank you & much good luck.."
