My wife is here, for the second time this month, & is facing insurmountable difficulties. The chemotherapy, our ally for the last year & a half, has lost its effectiveness. The cancer is on a rampage invading several major organs, & causing my Honey a lot of discomfort & Pain. The prognosis is grim; she's in the fourth and terminal stage of cancer.

Early one morning, after her first admission, I sat alone in the hospital cafeteria, brooding over our no-win dilemma. Thoughts dark & gloomy filled my mind. Then, a comforting, positive, & cheerful message of reassurance & hope entered my thoughts, dispelling my gloom. Through tears of joy I penned the welcome message,

"She'll Make It Home Just Fine!"

Psalm 59:16, 17
Saved by God's grace alone Though at death's door she may stand. Secure in His eternal arms, She'll make it home just fine!

Leaving her dark valley below, Out of its shadows she'll rise; Into the light of God's love. She'll make it home just fine!

Her Bible she holds dear; The church she loves to attend. Blessed by its truths sublime, She'll make it home just fine!

Rejoicing in God's haven of rest, Freed from her burdens of stress, Safe from the storms of life. She'll make it home just fine!

In heaven old friends she'll greet, & forever there to dwell, Where all is peace and cheer; She'll make it home just fine!

Before the Lord she'll stand, Her well-dones & joys to receive. As all her labors live on, She'll make it home just fine!

Our sister, helpmeet, mother & guide, Will be with the Lord on the other side, & through our veil of tears, She'll make it home just fine!
