The paper is sponsored now by First Baptist Church, 100 West Villena Drive, Hot Springs Village, Ark. 71909, Herbert Morehart , Pastor. The Reminder, like the sponsoring church, is Landmark in doctrine and follows the same policies, adhering to the doctrines of Missionary Baptists. We hold to Bible truth, and continue a ministry of instruction and devotion. We trust to continue a printed ministry since God has granted good health and there is a resounding voice which says, "We want The Reminder to continue." A number of people overseas have e-mail and access to the World Wide Web. We are happy these are able to see any current issue of the printed paper about as early, or earlier than those who get it in the mail. There seems to be a greater need for the message of this periodical as the years pass. We stand for the Scriptures as the complete authority for faith and practice.
We understand that there is a rising voice demanding a good feeling, but misunderstanding what is needed. As we are entering the end of the age a greater and greater emphasis is placed on every man's doing "that which is right in his own eyes." (Judges 17:6; 21:25; Deut. 21:2). This way of exalting a man is countered only by the Truth. Years and experience have shown that this Truth is the only safe way for a man.
Being past fourscore years, I am thankful to be granted this ministry, editing The Reminder, and rejoicing with brethren who love the Truth scattered over many states.
