When I started the All for the Glory of God website, in 1996, I searched for the perfect picture that would be warm and inviting and would remind me and all who visited of the reason for this site and who made it possible. This picture of Jesus means so much to me, now, just as it did then.

Jimmy Lee Coleman ~ The thought of our soldiers still being out there, somewhere is heartbreaking and scary. Please read about my MIA/POW, Jimmy Lee Coleman. Jimmy's information will remain on my site until he is brought home. God be with Jimmy and his family.

This Week's Lesson:

Editor's Note: Thank you for coming back to my site this week. As I stated in last week's lesson, I planned to continue studies in the book of James. However, our Heavenly Father has laid something different on my heart that I have to share with you. I pray that He will lead each one who reads the lesson this week, to receive the message that He desires and to apply that message to their lives according to His will. Love to you all.

What Have You Done For Me Lately?

In our day to day life, it is so easy to become conformed to the way of the world and to loose sight of God's plan for us and our lives. I fall into this many times and find myself humbled on my knees, praying for forgiveness and His direction. And the most ownderful part of all is that our Father is a loving, gracious and forgiving Father. He knows our hearts better than we can ever know ourselves. He knows our yesterdays and what is in store for our tomorrows. Praise be to Him for His omnipotence and His awesome love, mercy and grace through Christ jesus our Lord and Saviour.

Many of us hold certain positions in our church family. Important positions. Positions that bring recognition. God wants us to be active in the area that He has called us, but to HIS glory, not our own. That brings me to the question that God asks, "What have you done for me lately?" When you sing with the gift of song, do you sing in praise to the Father or for recognition from your peers, church members, the public? When you stand in your pulpit, are you in the will of God or have you gotten to a point of "doing your duty"? When you bow on your knees to pray, do you pray for God's will in sincerity and humility? If you have gotten to a point as these areas stated above, this doens't mean that things are a mess or that things won't be better. They will be. They can be! Ask the Father for a renewed strength and desire of being on fire for Him! Regardless of present circumstance, we all have the power through Christ Jesus to overcome these struggles and come out victorious! Jesus has already won the victory and He wants to share that with each of us - daily. Allow Him to renew your heart and lives, so that when you are asked, "What have you done fo rme lately?", you will be able to look tot he Heavens in praise to the Father and with a clear mind and say, "I have done Your will, Father." His will is what He wants us to do. Whether it be a calling to minster, to sing, to share our faith with someone we have neever met, to pray over prayer requests via email or internet...whatever the calling, follow God's direction. There is no wrong wrong when God is doing the driving!

I commit to a renewed faith and strength in Jesus today and pray that each of you will do this as well. There are many blessings waiting to be given, if we follow His lead. Can you see the blessings in your life today? Are the blessings clouded by struggles that you face? I have been to a point so recently where I ahve allowed my blessings to be clouded. My thoughts to be consumed by the struggles of life. But our loving, gracious Heavenly Father has brought me to me knees. Praise His Holy name! I am so thankful for the breath He palced in my body as the sun rose this morning. The rain He sent over the weekend. The beautiful chidlren He has entrusted in my care. The life He has given me and pray that I will live each day in His will until the moment that He takes me Home. Amen!

 SCRIPTURE AND VERSES:

Ecclesiastes 3

    • 1
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
      2
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
      3
a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
      4
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
      5
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
      6
a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
      7
a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
      8
a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
      9
What does the worker gain from his toil?
      10
I have seen the burden God has laid on men.
      11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
      12
I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live.
      13
That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil--this is the gift of God.
      14
I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him.
      15
Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. [1]
      16
And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment--wickedness was there, in the place of justice--wickedness was there.
      17
I thought in my heart, "God will bring to judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time for every deed."
      18
I also thought, "As for men, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals.
      19
Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath [2]; man has no advantage over the animal. Everything is meaningless.
      20
All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.
      21
Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and if the spirit of the animal [3] goes down into the earth?"
      22
So I saw that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?
    1. 15 Or God calls back the past
    2. 19 Or spirit
    3. 21 Or Who knows the spirit of man, which rises upward, or the spirit of the animal, which

    Mark 1

    14
After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.
    15
"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!"

    Luke 4:1-21

      • 1
Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the desert,
        2
where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry.
        3
The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread."
        4
Jesus answered, "It is written: `Man does not live on bread alone.' [1]"
        5
The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world.
        6
And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to.
        7
So if you worship me, it will all be yours."
        8
Jesus answered, "It is written: `Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.' [2]"
        9
The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down from here.
        10
        For it is written: "`He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully;
        11
they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' [3]"
        12
Jesus answered, "It says: `Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' [4]"
        13
When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time.
        14
Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside.
        15
He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.
        16
He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read.
        17
The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
        18
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed,
        19
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." [5]
        20
Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him,
        21
and he began by saying to them, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."

Until next week, pray, love one another and remember that each of you are in my thoughts and prayers & I love you!

Mystery of the Lost Lambs

I sing to thee,
O' Babes  short of time.
I give all to you,
of my love divine.
"We" are our own!
How grand "to be"
Perhaps you are not,
not needed for "WE" COME!
Come, my children.
You are but babes alone.
There is one clear path,
but it's way must be shown...
"WE" think not For this,
NOW, feels good.
"WE" will find our own way,
"WE" know we could.
