John David Bader was born in Osborne, Green County, OH on 21 Feb 1865. He was married in Columbus, Franklin County, OH on 02 Feb 1888 to Elizabeth Belle Thompson. Elizabeth was born in Warren County, IN on 09 Nov 1870, the daughter of George W. and Elizabeth (Timmons) Thompson. John became a Freemason in Green Hill Lodge No. 455, Green Hill, IN and served as master in 1896-97. He later affiliated with Coventry Lodge No. 665 in Akron, OH. John passed away on 19 Sep 1946, in Springfield, Clark County, OH, and Elizabeth died on 27 Dec 1958. They are interred in the Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Clark County, OH. They were the parents of the following children:
