She was born in Miami Township, Logan County, OH on 14 Aug 1856, the daughter of John George and Margaret Ann (Welsh)Kreglow. Albert passed away in Springfield, Clark County, OH on 26 Apr 1921, and Lida died on 09 Dec 1945. They are interred in the Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Clark County, OH. They were the parents of the following children:

Earl Clifford Shafer was born in Springfield Township, Clark County, OH on 31 Mar 1885. He married Jessie Estelle Funk in Springfield, Clark County, OH on 01 Oct 1914. She was the daughter of John Henry and Lola Mary (Fullerton) Funk. Earl passed away in Springfield on 12 Dec 1919. Jessie then married and divorced Harry David Coss, after which she married Edward Adam Pfeiffer. Jessie died at the Ohio Masonic Home, Springfield, Clark County, OH on 27 Jan 1984. Earl and Jessie are interred in the Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Clark County, OH. They were the parents of the following child:
