This pattern is called Hidden Wells.
Mom made this queen size quilt and as result
others were inspired to make one.
Mom held an informal workshop with a few ladies at her home church.
We all made HiddenWells quilts as a result.
Some of us have finished the quilt tops.
Some have done the quilting.
As I get pictures of the finished projects I will post them.
So if you are one of those ladies that attended the workshop,
send me a picture of your Hidden Wells quilt and I will post it on
this page.
Student # 1
This wall hanging was done by Tanya Price Vidrine.
She is a special friend of mine.
Quilting is a tradition in her family.
She wanted to continue that tradition.
I introduced her to my teacher at this workshop, Moma.
This is Tanya 1st project.
She was inspired to continue quilting
and has finished another Hidden Wells quilt top.
She is presently constructing a quilt top using the
paper piecing method for her son,
watches all the sewing shows on TV and records them.
She and I have joined a local quilting guild, Patience Quilters.
Keep up the good work,
Tanya.
