Okay, so it's not the first page dedicated to the wonderful actor. And I'm sure it won't be the last. Still, there are some of you who are wondering "Just who is this Jason Lee cat?" Well, wonder no more, for here it is, the lowdown on Jason Lee. Or at least all the info I could dig up on this seemingly media shy actor.
The 30 year old actor was born on 25 April, 1970 in Southern California. Once a professional skateboarder, Jason has now turned his attention to acting. His first role was a small part in Mi Vida Loca. Two years later he landed a starring role in Kevin Smith's Mallrats. Kevin enjoyed working with him so much that he wrote the part of Banky for Jason in his next film, Chasing Amy. Jason won the 1997 Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actor for that role. But that wasn't all. Jason also acted in A Better Place, directed by Vincent Pereira, which Kevin helped produce. He teamed up with Kevin again for the 1998 film, Dogma, (and just finished shooting the Smith film Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back). Jason also starred with David Schwimmer in Kissing A Fool and Gabriel Byrne in Weapons of Mass Destruction, an HBO original. 1997 was a busy year for Jason. And he didn't stop there. But that's what the filmmography page is for... :) Jason is married to Carmen Lee, who also had a role in Chasing Amy and A Better Place. Although his days of professional skateboarding are over, he owns a skateboard company called Stereo Skateboards and Sound Clothing.
Okay, so maybe that wasn't all that much info on Jason, not enough to keep a devoted admirer such as myself satisfied, anyway, but like I said, he likes to keep a low profile.
