A ha h aha!!! Quatre 77 you are hilarious. I've added your page to my GW links page. =P
Okay, I admit, I'm not into GWing anymore. ^_^; Sorry... it passed. I still think it's a cool anime and I still enjoy it, but I'm not rabid over it anymore. On that note, this page is no longer being updated as well.
Duo is a maddeningly optimistic member of the Gundam Wing pilots (although I'd like to believe his optimism comes from his deranged psychotic personality - hey, someone who calls himself "the god of death" and can laugh insanely is psychotic in my book), he's 15 (16 in Endless Waltz - the GWing OAV series), weighs about 43kg, is about 5'1" and is supposed to be of American descent. He has blueish-purple eyes and long, thick brown hair that's always braided at the back (calculated to be 110cm... on the previous Wild Wing Boys web page). He pilots the Gundam Deathscythe and later on in the series, pilots the Deathscythe Hell.
On the Gundam Wing cd's, Duo sings "Good Luck and Good Bye" in Operation 2 (vol. 2). In Operation 3, Duo sings "Kitto Ok!" ("Kitto is Japanese for absolutely, completely, surely. . take your pick." - thank you Kristen!)and in Operation 4, he sings "Wild Wing". According to Operation 2, the voice actor for Duo Maxwell is Toshihiko Seki. I was actually quite surprised when I first listened to the cd's since I didn't expect such a low voice for a 15 year old, but when I listened to the cd's more, it did seem to fit. (I mean, it is plausible that these guys have gone through puberty... [coughs])
THANK YOU so much to KTO (go check out her Wild Wing Boys Saga page!) who sent me Blind Target 1 and 2! ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
Possible spoiler warning
In part 1, Duo piloted through a barrage of missles that reminded me of Robotech! It was so cool! Go Duo!!! ^_^ (BTW, the animation is a lot better than in the TV series, so Duo's facial expressions just look all the cuter!)
Part 2 is really sad...Duo gets punched in the stomach by Heero and gets thrown into prison again! (Duo seems to have a knack of getting thrown into prisons and getting punched in the stomach - WAH! Poor Duo!!!)
In part 3, Duo gets out of prison! (gee...that wasn't much of a stretch was it?) hee hee hee...seems that clever little boy hid some lock picks in his hair. (hmm...wonder what else he can hide there...). Duo's REALLY cool looking (and revamped) Deathscythe makes it's full appearance in this part!
Ok, onto the important part: Duo! well, this is strange, but his voice in the OAV seems to go up and down, kinda like, he's going through puberty! Honestly though! His voice was deeper and changed less in the TV series than in EW!!! This is something I called 'reverse puberty'. ha ha. What else about Duo??? Well, he has new clothes! That priest outfit is gone! It's replaced by a really cool looking black pants and jacket with a red shirt underneath!
Note: A movie version of Endless Waltz is supposed to be in the works, I got an anime mag about it, unfortunately I can't read japanese. ^_^;;; Anyway, from what I heard, it's supposed to be basically the same story but with about 20 mins new footage to fill in the 'gaps' between the OAV episodes (if you've seen them you'll know what I mean).
Also, there's supposed to be a comic series of GWing called "G-Unit". All I've seen so far are the model kits for this series. I've also seen some of the manga, but didn't pick it up. The characters seem different, not the regular GWing ones. I'm just guessing that it's a separate story.
