Poems Page #2

MORNING, AFTERNOON AND NIGHT

Lather up your hair real well
It will leave you feeling swell
Then off you go to catch some sleep
Until the morning, beep beep beep
When you wake the time will be
6 O'clock or half past three
Then of course you eat and pee
And thru the day, might kill a tree
And when the stars rise in the sky,
You'll eat a sausage pizza pie
And then you wash your hair again
And go to bed at half past ten

MONTY PYTHON POEM

Monty Python! Oh, dear Python!

Watching so intently when you're on

Show that I adore so much!

With Gumbys, loonys, and characters such

So that I cry bitterly when you're done!

DRAGON'S DAUGHTER

Deep within the lightless water
Deep within the things undone
Lived the greatest Dragon's Daughter
Waiting for her time to come

Deep throughout the times unspoken
Deep beneath the bowels of earth
Dwelled the greatest Promise broken
Waiting for a new Rebirth

Pointless years of pain and sorrow
Weaved their way throughout True Time
Hoping for a new Tomorrow
Waiting for a brand new Rhyme

The Dragon's Daughter came at least
In all her flaming glory
So that she did erase the past
And bring a new Rhyme Story

I WANNA BE BRITISH

I wanna be British
I've got a big fettish
I use tons of their words
Though terribly wrong
No doubt

I flout them about
All the same
I wanna be British
I like their televitish
Shows (Some of them anyways)
Sorry that don't rhyme
I'm having a hard time
But just cause I'm a loony
You don't have to call the van
The loony deteeeector van
The loony deteeeector van
For POLLGE I am I am!
And an American
Silly as that may be
All the same t'would be cool to beee
British!
Where it rains quite a bit
So I've heard
I've heard it
I've never been there to say it
But I've heard it
But I've heard that the BBC can be boring
But when it's on Python
It's funny, that I know!
Oh so funny
Like a Bunny
Funny Bunny likes his eggs runny
What am I on (about)?
Don't I like to shout it out!
It'd be quite nice to be
British for three
Or four
Or maybe some more days a week!
Don'tcha know
Let it snooooowww, for it's hotter than heck here
It's 1:44 in the morning no lie
If I don't get to bed soon I think I might die
I have work at 12:45 in the noon
Though in Britain I'm sure at that time it'd be at least 4:45 PM in
the eve'ning
What a brilliant time to be up in the day
So before I go off, I really must say
How refreshing it'd be for a day... for a DAY!
To be most indubitably,
To see incontubably
What
It's like
To be British!
Sorry I made up some words
But you know it's absurd
And I'd most definitely like to know how to be British!

THERE WAS A LITTLE POLLGE...

Once there was a little POLLGE, sitting in a tree.
She looked upon the bleak wide world and thought, "Oh, woe is me!"
"How can there be a world so big without insanity?"
And there she vowed to rule the world as a Gumby loony.
She changed her name from Purple Lemon to the famedPOLLGE.
And many on the MP Forum often came to see
The silly Lemon rant and rave about the changing world.
Stick and stones might break their bones, but where there's fresh fruit hurled,
Insanity shall rule supreme with shouts of, "MY BRAIN HURTS!"
And when the world has thus succumb, to highly fabled loons,
The Loony Gumby, Esq. Clan shall dance on purple skewer tombs.

AUSSIE VILLAGE

okie dokie Algy folkie lives in Aussie village yes
Somewhere ppls said the weevils live in Aussie village yes
Algy ate them each and every last one in the Aussie village
Til they took her on a joy ride in the Aussie town to pillage
Now at noon you can see the moon in American far from the village
