Desperation Sale

these buggies must go now!! or be scrapped!!!

A friend in New Jersey is in one of those situations that we all hope never to find ourselves in. He has some beloved VW's that must be liquidated pronto. The cars in question are a pair of glass bodied dune buggies. The blue one (wait for pix) is quite complete including a softtop. It runs although it suffers from some minor mechanical problems (timing and oil leak). The yellow one is without engine and although it is full of rebuilt parts, like floors tranny and more, it does have some frame damage (slightly bent). These cars and some spare parts must go right away!!(Like within a week or two). He would like $2000 for the whole lot, but any unreasonable offer will be considered. If you might be interrested, contact me. I'll get you the contact info.

A very sorry looking Bradley Gt that I put in an offer on, way below the inflated asking price. Was told my offer was accepted and when I got there was told that an offer $200 above mine was just made. I was given the option of meeting the offer. I passed. The body while having fairly new paint is rough, the pan is very rough, the front beam is rotted and generaly the car looks like it was dragged out of a backyard and given an Earl Scheib paintjob (you know tires and all). The car has dissapeared, so someone has themselves a cool project. I believe it went for $500.00

I believe this is a Kelmark Gt. I was told there was a Scorpion GT for sale in Torrington CT and when I got there, this is what I found. It is pretty rough but appears to be mostly there. The inside is really yuk and the doors drop quite a bit when you open them. Price on windshield is $2,000. Sounds like wishfull thinking to me.

They are everywhere. I spotted this one on the way to work and snapped these at 5:45 in the morning. The body is just sitting on the pan, not bolted down. The pan has numerous holes cut out (probably a surgical procedure to attempt rust aversion). The body is full of stress cracks and the gellcoat is toast. The steering column is only attached at the box, so it can be real exciting trying to turn. Those front wheels are not gold...its rust. It says it runs, but even so $500 firm???

This is a Valkyrie from Fiberfab that David has down in Gainsville Fla. It is for sale. The body has never been cut or mounted, and is made for a custom chassis using corvair suspension and up to a v8 power, but you could run just about anything. It is very similar to the Avenger VW kit car. I'll post his Email soon or contact me and I'll get it to you

I had seen this Bradley GT before, just sitting in front of a service station, but it had not really registered. Today I decided to stop and find out about it. Yes it is for sale at the moment. the owner seems to go back and forth as to it's availability. It is on a '72 pan and the kit is a '79. Condition is fairly decent but there are chips and dings in the body and one window/door is broken in half. The interior is a light greenish (like hospital clothes) and the car runs, but is suffering from water in the fuel from sitting. The guy I spoke with thought it was worth @$1500. (but who knows what the owner thinks). To the best of my knowledge, it has never been registered in CT, so good luck.

stay tuned for more and in the mean time check out these great sights

Avenger/Valkyrie sight is temporarily down, but i am maintaining the link to get to sidekicks e-mail
