Once holes were drilled and tapped into the clutch housing, the gearbox and engine were mated. With the encouragement of a few friends who came round, the motor assembly was positioned in the engine bay. Spacers and modifications were required to fit the engine mounts. The engine was located about 15mm left of the intended position.
Note that on most 20V motor installations, the diagonal brace running under the throttle bodies needs to be cut out and moved down 25mm or so to clear the air box. As I was using an aftermarket engine management computer which uses a 'map' sensor, this structual change was not required. The radiator was also fitted up at this time. (An action I later regretted)
