Ready for Exhaust

Once in, the motor was plumbed and wired. The Microtech computer was connected where obvious but was to go back to the supplier for final (difficult) connections after the exhaust was fabricated.

The Toyota 20 Valve uses 4 X 47mm throttle bodies. Pipe # one on the extractors had to be replaced in order to provide clearance for the starter motor.

The rear end has received some special attention. In addition to the standard park brake, I wanted to fit a hydraulic handbrake. In events like the Targa it is often beneficial to be able to do a 'handbrake turn' to negotiate a hairpin or in the case of an overshoot. Rather than mount the handbrake mastercylinder on the tunnel between the seats, it has been mounted next to the diff and is operated by a cable as seen here.
