God's Abundant Grace
The Bible tells us in John 1:9 that once we step into the light of God's love, we are never the same, in spite of where we have been or what we have done. After I came to know Jesus as my Savior, it took me a while to realize, (and honestly I still struggle), that at some point in our Christian walk, we all sin against God. I would look around at other Christians and wonder why I couldn't seem to get it together like they did. There were so many nights I fell on my knees sobbing, thinking I had surely blown it this time. There was no way God was going to forgive me again, not for this one.
Hiding under a cloud of guilt and shame is not where God wants us to spend our Christian walk. He wants us to live in the light of His forgiveness and His love. I am learning that the conviction God brings is not to bring guilt and condemnation, but growth in our Christian walk.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
We are saved by Grace. The same Grace that saves us will also keep us..........no matter where in our life we need God's Grace.
Are you hurting?
Filled with grief?
Maybe over the lose of a loved one or a feeling of failure?
Maybe it is because you feel you will never walk pleasing before Him?
No matter where in your life the pain is, God's Grace is there to fill the void and lift you up. We all need to learn to use God's grace as a standard for our own lives, not just in how we treat others, but also in how we treat ourselves.
Titus 2:11&12
For the Grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "NO" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled upright and godly lives in this present age.
We have to learn to use the conviction that comes when we know we have done wrong as a pathfinder to keep us in God's will.
Hebrews 7:25
"Therefore He (Jesus) is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede ( pray) for them.
Jesus knows that we are not perfect and that we all mess up. That is why He gave us a way out. This is not a license to sin; we are called to live holy lives.
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
1 Peter 1:15&16
But just as He who called you is Holy, so be holy in all you do, for it is written "Be holy as I am Holy."
I find comfort in knowing if my heart is pure and I am seeking to please and serve Him and be all that Jesus would have me be. Then, when I fall flat on my face, He intercedes for me. Remember, there is NO temptation that is stronger than the love God has for us. Regardless of how we feel, God wants us to know He has His very best in mind for our lives. No matter where you are right now, Jesus sits at the right hand of God, and at this moment is interceding for you!!!
I am learning that this doesn't mean I will never face temptation or heartache; it does mean I have an eternal hope to face what tomorrow may bring--something I did not have before I met Jesus and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior. I am learning that God is not repulsed by my sin. He knew all I would do before He saved me, yet Jesus chose to give His life for me. I am learning to live life as He would have me live it, by His Grace. I am learning that each day holds new mercies and even if today I stumble, tomorrow is brand new and He has plans for me; plans to touch a life, encourage one of His children, or comfort a soul still lost in the pain of this world. I am learning that the faster I step up to His Throne of Grace and seek forgiveness, and the faster I forgive myself and learn from my mistakes (sins), the faster I am back into the plans He has for me and doing His work for His Glory.
God's Grace comes not on the basis of what we have or have not done, but on the basis of His unconditional love for us.
Ephesians 2:9
For it is by Grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not of yourself, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast.
It is my heart's cry that we all will learn to live and walk within Gods abundant Grace. We live in a world that is lost and so filled with pain. The sooner God's children learn to live in the Grace of God and move past our own failures, the sooner we are reaching out again to the lost, hurting people that fill all of our lives. May God's sweet Grace fill your heart and show you again the richness and unconditional love God has for all people. No matter what it is you are dealing with, no matter if it is failure you feel you have done or failure you feel others have done to you, God's Grace IS sufficient, and as you open up your heart and humble yourself before our God of Love, Grace, and Mercy, He will again fill you with His love not just for yourself but for the many, many lives around you needing to see our Jesus in your life and gain hope from Jesus shining through you.
May God bless you richly today!!!

Love to hear from you.
