Hello and welcome to the home of The Saintz. One of Florida's up and coming Christian Rock bands. This site will be under construction until I get further info from the band members, but I can at least show some pics and give a shout out to my Uncle Brian who is the drummer for the band.
Last Thanksgiving, my husband and I went down to visit my Uncle and his family for the holiday. You can't imagine how cool it was as a Michigander to go down to Florida and eat Thanksgiving dinner wearing shorts and lounging by the pool. We had a great time!
Not only was it great to see my family, but it was awesome to see my Uncle Bri play drums. It's been a long time since I've seen him play; long time from the basement in Redford eh Bri?!
Any ways, he invited us to go see the band play at a local church for a youth group retreat. I must admit, I'm not an avid listener of Christian rock music. But the sounds and words that came out just grabbed those kids and set them to cheering and screaming for more. I must say I was surely impressed.
With
all the troubles that seem to be invading the lives of the youth of the
world, it's good to see that there are still some kids out there who wish
to learn and live by the word of God. I surely hope that whenever
a kid needs guidance, that they seek out a parent, friend, pastor or counselor
and get any help that they need.

This group has played at many different gigs, but one area they reach out to the most are prisons. The inmates surprisingly enjoy it. Meaning, they are expecting the music to be like church music. Then once they start playing, they are amazed, as I was that The Saints can rock the house.
Brian and his wife Tammy were up here in August and he mentioned that the group will be putting out a CD. Looking forward to hearing it. Well, this is it for now. Like I mentioned before, I need to get more info from the band.
