We met in Grand Prairie, Tx., in Nov. 1964, while I was stationed in Duncanville, Tx., at the ARADCOM Site with the US Army, located there at that time. I was an Air Defense Radar Tech. for the Dallas/Ft. Worth Air Defense System, and Pat was a waitress and fry cook at a local resturant in Grand Prairie.
Married in Grand Prairie, Tx. on March, 13, 1965
Over the years we have aquired six (7) wonderful GOD sent children, three (3) natural born children, one (1) girl and two (2) boys. We also adopted three (4) more, two (3) girls and one (1) boy. Thier names by age (older to younger) are Dee, Dirk Jr., David, Angel, Katie, Allen & Tabby.
Presently I, Dirk Sr., am Retired on a medical/disability retirement (after 26 & 1/2 yrs. with the Federal Govt.) and Pat is also Retired.
Dee and her husband Adam are raising their three children in Ontariio, Canada. She is very interested in her childrens education and deeply involved in thier activities, plus designs Home Pages on the side.
