You and you and you,
Look all the same to me,
But is there something hidden,
That I just cannot see?

Do I have to wonder,
Why did God create,
The colour of your skin,
That I've been taught to hate.

Screaming for their freedom,
I'm standing in between,
Listening to them fighting,
For a common DREAM.

I do not have the answers,
To life and what should be,
But can we live together?
In Peace and Harmony.

Thanks, Sherry!

Yeah, it's one of those times again. You know...when things aren't going right. Plans fall through, expectations aren't met, your mate leaves you standing alone at the altar.

We all have them. Some of us deal with it by smiling and laughing, then crying alone later. Some of us scream and yell, then cry alone later. Some of us cry, then smile and feel comfort later. Some of us leave the car running in the garage.

Whichever path you choose just remember that in the end there will be light...no matter which plan you've chosen.

Feel that?

The squishy crawly things running between your toes.

See that?
The bodies lying dead one by one in massive rows.

Hear that?
The scream of an animal being pierced with arrows.

Feel that?

The bee sting from a nearby nest.

See that?
The beggar being poked at and made fun of in jest.

Hear that?
The tightening of the prisoner's straps as he's quickly put to rest.

Feel that?

The ray of sunshine warming your arm.

See that?
The awkward colt just born on a farm.

Hear that?
The storm above that will do you no harm.

We live. We lose. We lust. We linger. We leave. We lash. We love.

We die, but with hope and happiness and children.

The sky above rolls and crashes.
The moon hides nowhere to be seen.
Listen to the thunder roar with might.
Are you ready for the light?

Mommies crying and daddies dying
Why must it be this way?
You knew all along it was going to be a fight.
Are you ready for the light?

Children laughing a sweet melody
And priests praying to any lord they can.
Listen to the Angels and point your head to the night.
Are you ready for the light?

Cause it's only a matter of time now
Before your number is called.
And He'll watch your face turn a pale, pale white
Are you ready for the light?

Your Lord is angry but you were warned.
He wrote it all down after all.
And now He's back to make it all right.
Are you ready for the light?

Some will sing and some will scream.
Which one are you going to be?
Watch the truth it'll sure be a sight.
Are you sure you're ready for the light?
