I wish to thank Maximillion for allowing me to borrow these from him. I was so touched when I saw his dedication page I asked permission to use these poems here. | ||
I now know the Title and the Author
of this poem. Thank you so much to a dear person who
emailed me after the agony of having her/his 6 year old
Cat, Meg, put to sleep. She/He got the details at the Pet
Cemetary and sent them to me. I never got a name, only an
email address. It seems only fitting that I dedicate this space to Meg. |

"If It Should Be" | ||
"Vale" | ||
If it should be that I grow frail
and weak You will be
sad - I understand We've had so
many happy years I know in
time you too will see Don't grieve
that it should be you (Vale) |

![]() Waiting I got to the gate of Heaven
yesterday I began to miss you terribly, Suddenly there was an Angel and she
asked me I asked her if I could stay outside I wouldn't make much noise you see, I'll only wait here patiently The Angel said I could stay right
here Because Heaven just wouldn't be
Heaven So I'll wait right here, you take
your time, Because Heaven just wouldn't be
