Duke is a thorough-bred Chinese Shar-Pei. He is a light brown, with a red stripe down his back, and has a Tan and Chocolate brown face. He has everyone trained the way he wants them. He walks you and waters all the bushes and trees everywhere he goes. I swear he has two sets of bladders. He's smart, and lovable, devoted and so happy go lucky. He looks like he's smiling when wagging his tail sometimes. I am adding some of his photos and some photos of some of his doggie friends and some adopted doggie friends. He's never been bred, so he has his "adopted net family" too!! Giggles
Duke is a great watchdog. He sits outside the door and watches everyone go by. Lord help the person that tries to get into my home. If he doesn't like someone, he growls to let them know that they don't belong here. GOOD BOY, Duke!!! I have to keep him on a long leash and harness, so no-one will take him. Not that he'd go....He's got a good set of brakes when he doesn't want to go anywhere. There's no moving him!!
He's always popping in to see what I'm doing and to make sure that I don't leave and go anywhere without him. He's suppose to be guarding me, but I think he doesn't like it when I sneak out to bring SueBee her lunch or dinner...No dogs allowed in the office. Heeheehe!! A can sneak a coffee while I'm there!!!
Now tell me, isn't that the face only a mother can love?? You would love it if you could see what I did with all those wrinkles!! heeheehee!!! I take all the skin from the back of his neck and pull it up over his eyes so he can't see!! Giggles!! And I just love stretching his cheeks...He is so funny looking when I do that...He loves it!! We play like that a lot and he sits and lets me do it...Giggles! SMOOCHES to Duke!!

Look into those eyes. Can you say NO to this sweet dog, when he stares at you without flinching?? Can you say NO. when he asks you to take him out, or wants your food as a snack?? Heeheehee!! He has SueBee, Gump, Johnny and his kids trained quite well...He just sits by your side, nudges your elbow or knee and looks up into your eyes. He doesn't say a thing, but just stares...I can't say NO! The others can't either!! Giggles!! It works for him just about every time!! GOD I love this dog...Giggles...You have to be careful what you say too, because he understands a lot of words...even if you spell them out!! He has quite a few friends too. People, cats and other dogs too. He's just a lovable dog!! Everyone loves him!!
This is Kiki. He's a black minature poodle. He loves to come and visit Duke. Scott, his master, is SueBee's nephew, so they come to visit often. Kiki just loves to jump all over Duke. He's such a happy puppy. Dukes adores him!!
Here is Duke and Kiki playing together...Kiki is so tiny compared to Duker's. I love watching them together. Duke and Kiki are cousins by adoption!! Kiki adopted Duke!!
These are cousins of Duke too. Gadybear and Sassy belong to SueBee. They are two beautiful dogs. They live with Mikey, a friend of SueBee's. Dogs aren't allowed here, but Duke was grandfathered in 4 years ago, because he is always on a leash, doesn't bark and disturb the neighbors and is not allowed to run free, for someone would steal him for sure. He's considered a very special dog in a lot of ways..
This is Buttons. She belongs to Jack from Texas. When I adopt people with pets, their pets are also related and adopted by Duke. Giggles!!
This is Sweetpea, a pit bull pup. She is absolutely crazy about Duke..She visits quite regularly and always kisses him. Sweetpea belongs to the owners daughter, Lady Rae. A beautiful dog for sure.

This little puppy is adorable. He was on the face of a card that was sent to me, so I had to include it. I want a bunch of them. Really!! Duke better get busy and make me a granny!!
Here is a cute Sharpei couple that was found in the newspaper by SueBee...I think that they are adorable...I could handle having a bunch of puppies like these. Giggles...
This is Bandit. He belongs to Sapphire. This is the kind of dog that if you put a broom handles into it, you could use it as a floor dustmop!! Heeheehee He's a ScottTerrier...looks like his MOM...same hair color..
This is Dukes adopted new baby brother from China...His name is Samuel. He's not a Chinese Shar Pei. He's a Chow and Black Lab mix, but he is so adorable. He belongs to my sweet family in Hong Kong....I wonder if he speaks Chinese??
There is a lot of work involved in taking care of pets. We can love them, feed them, take them out for walks, make sure that they have plenty of water, especially during the summer. We must take care of their teeth
so they don't get cavaties and can have nice white teeth like you and me. They also should be bathed
and should also be dipped
to keep the fleas off of them. Fleas can kill your dog if too many make a home in their fur. They bite the dogs and make them scratch until they make sores on their poor little bodies and they could become infected.
Dogs also have bad habits that they have to be trained NOT to do!! Just like yourself, you have to keep your dog on a schedule, by taking him out walking so that he can water the bushes
so he won't do it on the floors and furniture. And you have to train them not to chew on you shoes.
Make sure you pick up all your toys and clothes because puppies love to play with your dirty clothes and may even chew holes in them
Some dogs will go into the bathroom to drink water out of the toilet and that's not too cool.
This is not sanitary, for some kids forget to flush....SHAME ON THEM!!
And last but not least, make sure that you teach you dog NOT to dot this.
It's natural for puppies to do this but it can be very embarassing to you and the party that it's happening to....Giggles....Bye for now, and remember...Take care of your pets.
