Many of the special effects are taken from the Tutorial section of POVRAY v3.1a Documentation (over 300 pages!) such as the hand, rainbow, sunset, ice-cubes, textbox and multiple fogging and lighting effects! I love to use the Superellipsoid because of its flexibility! (just change two values and it can change like mad like Terminator II!)
Reasons for the special effects:-
1) The hand indicates the enjoyment of strawberry (Pink Alabaster) ice-cream with bottom cylindrical biscult (DMFWood4)!
(It requires the most rotation and translation to hold the CSG properly! Headache, man!)
2) The rainbow and sunset creates a pleasant effect just like when enjoying the ice-cream!
3) The ice-cubes (placed like a pattern) creates a cooling effect.
(Isn't the ice-cream cool?)
4) The tiles have a candy texture to indicate the ice-cream is sweet! There is a watery glout between them to add to the pleasant effect just like bathing!
5) The textbox has a stone texture with gold words to indicate the fame of this strawberry ice-cream! It is so shiny that it creates a reflection on the tiles!
6) Multiple fogging effects are similar to the "dry ice" on stage!
7) Multiple light sources create a dancing effect on the ice-cream like in a disco! Yellow is used to create the brightest picture of the ice-cream!
8) Fisheye view is needed to have a maximised view of ice-cream!
Unfortunately, there are some defects in my design... *Sign*
Multiple fogging effects cause the picture to become dimmer.
The CSG does not stand on the tiled plane very well!
The image file takes very long to render, so focal blur is disabled!
