"Banana or apple?"

"I don't like bananas. Apple, please."

"Here you go." Nick said, throwing Lauren the apple, and taking a banana for himself. They left the kitchen and sat down in the living room.

"Where's everybody? This house is usually filled with people." She commented, taking a bite of her apple.

"My dad's in the backyard. Aaron's in LA with my mom, shooting the pilot for this new sit-com of his, but he'll be home tonight. BJ, Leslie and Angel are at school. They are looking forward to see you. They really like you, you know."

"I'm looking forward to meet everyone too. Did you plan anything for us to do today?"

"A boat ride. It would be calm. It'd give your ears a break after months of screaming fans. We could visit a shore nearby or we could stop in the middle of the sea and take some sun."

She smiled. "It would be nice. I'll go change clothes."

She left for her room. Nick went in his to put his bathing suit back on, as well as a plain yellow shirt. It didn't take him long. When he got back to the guest room, the door was still closed. He knocked.

"Are you done yet?" He asked.

"Yep!" With that, she opened the door. She was wearing a one-piece bathing suit, black with a large white stripe. She had a pair of short jeans on top of it. She had tied her hair up in a ponytail.

"Ready to go?"

She just nodded.

"Let me check the boat, then we'll leave."

They walked outside, Lauren first. Nick couldn't help but to stare at her from behind. She was only wearing a bathing suit and shorts, and her back was bare. Nick sighed and shook his head. Now was not the time.

Nick's dad was outside taking sun. "Hey dad! Lauren's here." Mr. Carter looked at them and took off his sunglasses.

"Oh, hello Lauren. How are you?"

"I'm fine, just a bit tired. You?"

"I'm fine. So, you're spending only two days with us?"

"Yeah, I want to spend some time with my family as well."

"I understand that." He looked at Nick. "Do you have anything special planned?"

"We were just going for a boat ride." I answered. "We'll be back for dinner."

"Okay, be careful you guys."

"We will." Nick and Lauren both jumped inside the boat. Nick checked to see if the oil and gaz were alright, and they were, so they left.
