We have decided it was time for our Gingercats (affectionately called "Gin-Gin") to have feline companionship again and so we now welcome the new additions to our family, Nikki and Nichie (pronounced Nee-She), two blue lynx point Siamese male kittens.

You can tell how thrilled Gin-Gin is:



She is getting better, though. Now she is tolerating them and even sometimes playing with them.

Now who would think those sweet little kittens could terrorize poor Gin-Gin and Max, our little white Maltese dog?


Here is an example of how poor Gin-Gin looks after a day with the little angels:




The kittens just love to play and tease. Sometimes Gin-Gin and Max do take it the wrong way and get very upset. But do you think the kittens worry about it? This is a typical kitten reaction to Gin-Gin and Max's anger:



If they could stick their tongues out and wag their ears with their paws at the same time, they would. They are just so bold and sassy!

Nothing fazes these two. They are always bright, curious, and happy cats. Always looking and seeking new adventures and letting nothing stand in their way. No matter what trouble they get into, they always have that happy-go-lucky disposition:


Nikki and Nichie always have a smile on their face and an alert wag in their tails.

But at the end of the day, after all the playing and trouble making and adventures cease, they are just two sweet, adorable kittens, who are tuckered out. So our little angels stop and rest, dreaming of new exciting things that await them:



And so they dream of new quests and ventures. They haven't tried these yet


but I am sure they will and will find many more things to amuse themselves.

But for now, sweet kittens, sleep and dream. We will cherish your growing up years and watch you develop into the adults you will become. But for us, all our pets are our babies, no matter how old they are!
