RAISE THE PRAISE
We're called to praise and glorify our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Now, there are several ways in which you can praise the Lord, but one of the most common ways is through praise and worship songs. In this section of the Main Stage, I'll be featuring the lyrics to a favorite Praise and Worship song. What's the purpose of this, you might be asking. Well, I'm hoping that this will remind some of you who may not find time throughout the busy day to give the praise that's due to God, and also I just like praise and worship music and can't imagine not including it in my music page. :)

MUSIC NEWS
What's new in the music world?? Here you'll find out! I'll keep you updated with some of the new albums coming out from several of the recording companies...as well as other music news you just might want to know. Also, if any of you out there know of any important music news that I've forgotten or skipped over, if you send it to me, I'll be glad to add it to the list of news!
1) With their new CD, INVINCIBLE, hitting the shelves on February 1, SKILLET is taking to the road for the I-T-2000 tour with special guests Stereo Deluxx and American Made.
2) New artist PAX217 will be releasing their "two-seventeen" album on February 15th! For more info, visit their site at http://www.pax217.com
3) Trin-i-Tee 5:7's sophmore project, "Spiritual Love," recently debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums Chart. Great work, ladies!!
And on top of that, Trin-i-Tee 5:7's DEBUT project from July of 1998 has just been certified GOLD!
4) Audio Adrenaline's spring UNDERDOG tour has begun!! Maybe they're coming to a town near you....here's the tour schedule!
5) The Dove Awards of 2000 will be coming up before we know it! (April 20th, 2000!) Nominations have been made; care to see who has been picked for this year? Click here!
6) REBECCA ST. JAMES just won a Grammy award for Best Rock Gospel Album for her "Pray" CD!!! WAY TO GO!! This is Rebecca's first Grammy award, so it's extra special. :) To read all about it, including her acceptance speech, click here!
7) And, Steven Curtis Chapman also picked up a Grammy award this year! His "Speechless" CD won Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album!! Congrats to S.C.C on his fourth Grammy!!

Just because I like or dislike something, doesn't necessarily mean that you will too.
