RAISE THE PRAISE
We're called to praise and glorify our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Now, there are several ways in which you can praise the Lord, but one of the most common ways is through praise and worship songs. In this section of the Main Stage, I'll be featuring the lyrics to a favorite Praise and Worship song. What's the purpose of this, you might be asking. Well, I'm hoping that this will remind some of you who may not find time throughout the busy day to give the praise that's due to God, and also I just like praise and worship music and can't imagine not including it in my music page. :)
Let's raise the praise, and give God the glory He deserves!
This month's featured praise song is "Change My Heart, Oh God". This song has been my prayer for the past few weeks. Change MY heart, Oh God.... I'm far from being perfect, and I need Him to mold me and shape me and make me into something of use, something that will bring Him the glory that He deserves. I want to be "ever true", and just stand in God's presence, completely transparent and honest before Him. This is my prayer.

What's new in the music world?? Here you'll find out! I'll keep you updated with some of the new albums coming out from several of the recording companies...as well as other music news you just might want to know. Also, if any of you out there know of any important music news that I've forgotten or skipped over, if you send it to me, I'll be glad to add it to the list of news!
1) Audio Adrenaline's spring UNDERDOG tour has begun!! Maybe they're coming to a town near you....here's the tour schedule!
2) The Dove Awards of 2000 will be coming up before we know it! (April 20th, 2000!) Nominations have been made; care to see who has been picked for this year? Click here!
3) REBECCA ST. JAMES just won a Grammy award for Best Rock Gospel Album for her "Pray" CD!!! WAY TO GO!! This is Rebecca's first Grammy award, so it's extra special. :) To read all about it, including her acceptance speech, click here!
4) And, Steven Curtis Chapman also picked up a Grammy award this year! His "Speechless" CD won Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album!! Congrats to S.C.C on his fourth Grammy!!
5) JARS OF CLAY recently launched their "Colliding Rhinos" tour along with BURLAP TO CASHMERE and DAVID WILCOX!! See if they'll be appearing in a town near you...here's their tour schedule!

This is a new section to the Main Stage! Here I'll be spotlighting a song in each issue that is written and sung by a popular Christian artist/group out there.
Then I'll write a little devotional-type-thing about the song and what it means to me.

I got some new CD's for Christmas, so I'm finally going to be able to post some album reviews here! Remember, these reviews are based on my own opinion and thoughts of the albums. Just because I like or dislike something, doesn't necessarily mean that you will too. (Note: To keep these coming from different view-points, and because I can't listen to everything, I am looking for people to help me write reviews.
