Stab
Me
stab me
sink your
blade and stab me
and watch
me as my blood spills free of fight
your tongue
as sharp
as drooling wolves teeth
glistening
against a steamy full moon night
the shadows
that lurk
cold at every corner
are the
thoughts I hold, the thoughts that can't be freed
the whispers
of a graveyard
in the winter
are the
yearnings of a heart too tired to bleed
tomorrow
I cannot
relive this moment
the screaming
and decay will slowly fade
wisdom
gained,
lost and forgotten
like some
vietnam veterans parade
your voice
it echoes
through my childhood
an iron
fist, thunder and cold eyes
the memory
is so vivid
during quiet times
loud enough
to drown a young child's cries
compassion
just a word
of jumbled letters
close my
eyes and shield me from the rain
perfection
on a plate
each night for dinner
washed down
with a back hander once again
conversation
a steaming,
rattling ice truck
speeding
the wrong way down a narrow one way street
accusation
the hot
sun biting fresh snow
leaving
nothing but water gathered at your feet
so stab
me
sink your
blade and stab me
and watch
me as I oh so slowly bleed
on Gods
earth
where all
creatures are created equal
even parasites
possess the right to feed
