Such
is Life
Life is
changing day to day
For better
or worse its hard to say
People kneel,
to God they pray
Hoping religion
shows the way
Sex is either
straight or gay
Or looking
for an easy lay
The poor
are just numbers that others mislay
For peace
of mind you have to pay
Unemployment
bad says the survey
But we all
knew that anyway
While hunger
is on open display
And our
children don't know how to play
Drugs introduced
without delay
Causing
parents great dismay
The laws
that they could not obey
Friends
most certainly led them astray
Yet still
they will work beyond the suns last ray
Too much
worry, hair turns gray
Hoping that
their children will stay
Then shed
a tear when they move away
And is the
violence on the matinee
The lifestyle
that we all portray?
I wish I
knew what I am trying to say
