Young lives so easily influenced, forged, and yes manipulated; by the things that they see, hear, read, and eventually experience.Misguided and abused at such an early stage of one's upbringing can cause such confusion in an innocent child's mind.At a time when they are most vulnerable and searching for a place to belong.At a time when love and support are most needed, many children, especially teenagers; may be left on their own to struggle for answers to life's questions.Who am I? What am I doing here? Where did I come from? Where am I going in todays society with its fast paced,technologically advanced,money hungry,politically correct so-called world view.When parents or other mature and responsible role models are unavailable or unable to give them guidance many many children and teens are left on their own to find out about life for themselves.I was one of those children left alone.Noone told me anything about sex,my body,or morals.Noone told me about my rights.My right to not be touched in any way that makes me uncomfortable.My right to say no to abuse,to being molested.At age 8,and then again at 13;I was molested by older men.One was an older cousin,the other a staff member at a youth center.Both of these men were homosexual pedophiles.Isn't it strange that in todays politically correct world we are so afraid to offend that we even try to protect a certain segment of society by not calling them what they are?I have never read nor heard the term 'homosexual pedophile'in the newspaper or on the T.V. news, although many child molestations are perpetrated upon children of the same sex.These perpetrators are homosexuals.They are individuals that prey upon children,and for whatever reason prefer children of the same sex as their own.In many cases these perpetrators were victims themselves as children,and most were victimized by homosexual pedophiles.I am not saying that all people who claim to be homosexual are pedophiles.Or that the homosexual orientation manifests itself out of an act of childhood molestation.What I am saying is that we need to stop glossing over the fact that homosexual pedophiles are out there committing a growing number of crimes against children.Let's say that 10% of our population claims to be homosexual.And,although there are no thorough studies done on this,I would venture to say that a very high percentage of all sex crimes committed against children are same sex attacks.I am sure I will be labeled a "gay basher"or some other such term by many politically correct people.I don't care about that.My only concern is for our children's well being.There may be pedophiles out there who are heterosexuals.If so,I am not meaning to minimize the results of their actions either.Although the alarming rate and percentage of homosexual sex crimes is the focus of my attention here.On any night of the week,in any major city; you will find homosexual Johns'attempting to pick up homeless street kids for the purpose of having sex with them.Many, if not most; of these kids are underage, some as young as 10-12 years old.For some reason it seems that the general public is unaware of this fact.Of this behavior which has been going on for decades.I know because I was one of those kids myself back in the 60's, and I still see it happening today.This is how our most notorious serial rapists/killers like John Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer met many if not most of their victims.They picked up young boys off the streets and offered them money or a place to stay, and then they killed them.Today there is a growing debate concerning homosexuality.Many questions are being asked about this topic, and that is how it should be.We need to take a closer look at this subject.Let's not be blinded by fear or ignorance though.The gay community wants you to believe that people are born to be either hetero or homo sexuals,that we have no choice in the matter; that there may even be a genetic make up that determines ones sexuality.They will say things like,"Do you think I would choose to be this way?"; or "I've been this way all my life".And if you disagree with any of these homosexual issues you are automatically labeled a 'gay basher' or a 'bigot'.Since when do I or anyone else not have the right to disagree concerning what we feel is wrong?Personally,I feel that living a "homosexual lifestyle" is a choice one makes and I don't believe a person is born homosexual.To believe otherwise is to say that we have no free will! If ones sexual orientation is determined at birth and you agree with this; then you must also agree that a person could be born to be a pedophile or a rapist because this is their sexual orientation and it could be argued that they were born with a gene that predetermined their sexual preferences!Are they to blame for how they are?I want to address one other issue that the gay community raises often.This being the subject of suicide.I keep hearing about the high rate of suicides among homosexual youth.The gay community wants you to believe that all of these young people killing themselves are doing so from fear of coming out of the closet: ie; revealing to family and friends that they are gay.Well;what if that wasn't the case or reason for their suicide?Isn't it possible that they committed suicide because they had become so confused and ashamed of the choice they had made,or the manipulation they'd endured to be a part of a lifestyle they truly didn't want to be a part of?This is what happened to me at age 17.I contemplated suicide a number of times,not because I was afraid of admitting anything,but because I was deeply ashamed of the perversion I had allowed myself to be a part of;and what this choice of lifestyle had done to my self worth.I felt totally used, manipulated, degraded, and deceived by a community that saw me only as an object for sexual gratification.I have never met a homosexual who cared about me as a person,it was all about sex!I spent 10 years of my life drifting in and out of that lifestyle, and met hundreds of gay people; so my experience is not limited to just a few people.For a young person searching for answers in life, who is vulnerable, and needy with noone to turn to for guidance,it is easy to fall into a false belief!Many homosexuals tried to convince me that I was gay,although I knew in my heart that I wasn't.They would try to tell me how evil and manipulative women are, and I almost believed them. I realized that it was their own distorted way of thinking that caused them to believe that and I didn't have to share that belief.I met many gay men who would act as if they adored women,but then would talk bad about the female gender behind their backs!I imagine that lesbians are the same way.Putting on a front to be nice but holding a deep dislike of men.I have walked into a lesbian tavern and felt far less than welcome.That attitude shows that there is much more going on in the minds of homosexual men and women then they let on in public.Somewhere in their development they formed negative opinions of the opposite sex.Possibly their views came out of rejection or abuse by a parent or other prominent figure in their lives?And,because of this,especially if it happened in the formative years;they grow to believe that they can't trust anyone of the opposite sex.I am more apt to believe some scenario like this to be the cause of homosexuality than any other.I want to say here that it is not my intent to offend anyone with my beliefs.Only to have the freedom to express myself and hopefully, through doing so to shed some new light on a topic that should be looked at.Whether you agree with me or disagree is your right and your choice.Let's not deny one another the right to believe and let's try to resolve our differences through mediation and not violence.
