Thank you for your email which I received this morning. Through previous
investigation of the JPS vehicles I found the following.

We only produced 30 JPS vehicles which were specially produced for the
Benson & Hedges Group. Each of these vehicles were presented with a
certificate and a number - to our knowledge these no longer exist.

The JPS model became very popular and our dealers began to sell the JPS
accessories for the 318i, and would locally fit these to our customers
cars, resulting in a replica JPS BMW.

After looking into your vehicle though the chassis number we would like
to confirm for you that your vehicle is a BMW 323i Motor Sport. Again
there were not many of these produced and were a promotion only for the
Australian Market. These were produced by Frank Gardener and his team.
Your vehicle when produced had the follow options:

• - Power Steering
  - Sports Suspension
  - Recaro Seats
  - Sports Steering Wheel
  - Local Rims
  - Locked Glovebox
  - Electric Antenna
  - Electric Sunroof
  - On Board Computer
  - Air Conditioning

I don't know why the log books state that the vehicle is a 323i - JPS,
mainly because the original JPS were 318i models only.

I would suggest to you that you vehicle sounds like a nice package. We
appreciate the time you have taken to write and we trust our response
addresses the points that you have raised.
