January 2, 2000: Welcome to my new and improved Pet page. I had not
touched this page in the longest time, so I thought now would be as good a time as any to
update it! Not to mention the fact that I just got a new digital camera for Christmas! Hey
I gotta find something to do with all these photos I'm taking! (grin)
I am laying this page out just like my BOSTON Vacation page. Just choose a
photo, read the little synapsis about the photograph and the full size image will appear
in a separate window. All of the full size images will appear in the SAME separate window,
so you don't have to close the window after every viewing as I'm not going to clutter your
screen here! (grin)
Anyway, please enjoy these images of kitties and doggies and if you have
any comments, please feel free to EMAIL them to
me.
Before I begin with my current pets, I just wanted to pay a little tribute
to a former family pet. Many of you have seen this photo on my page for the last 3+ years
that I have had this website. What you don't know, is that Bruno, the Rottweiler, passed
away rather unexpectedly just 3 months shy of his fourth birthday. We still don't know
what caused his death. We pray all dogs go to heaven too!

Christmas, 1995 with myself. Bruno
was just 6 months old here |

August, 1998 in Roscoe, NY. Bruno was helping
out with the gathering of firewood. |
OK, let me introduce you to my babies:
 |
This little old lady is Dutchess. She's a shepherd-lab mix and is
currently the oldest pet I have. She's been with me since she November 9, 1985. She was
born August, 1985. If you're doing the math, she's over 14 now! |
 |
The half-sleepy German Shepherd over here is my girl, Candie. Candie has
an interesting history. I adopted her from a local pound who had picked her up from a junk
yard. She suffered abuse at the hands of the junk yard workers and lost half of her tongue
to a sardine can that got caught in her mouth when she was trying to lick it clean. Today,
4 1/2 years later, she is a happy and healthy doggie and I am clearly, her favorite
person! |
 |
This little kitty with the glowing eyes is Misty. I adopted her back in
May of 1991 when she was 10 weeks old. She's the little princess of the household. So
picky, in fact, that she insists on drinking water ONLY from the bathroom faucet. Nobody
can have a private moment alone in the bathroom without Misty jumping on the sink and
begging for the water to be turned on! |
 |
This little cutie is Tigger. She's about a year younger than Misty. She's
got a strange personality. Very loveable and sweet, but hate's to be picked up. Instead,
she would rather jump up onto your shoulders and cuddle around your neck. If you try to
hold her, she just jumps away. She also suffers from allergies and tends to scratch the
hair right off her back! Poor baby! |
 |
Meet the NEWEST member of the family! He's just known as "The Black
Cat" or "Blackie" for short. His original owner (a former tenant of mine)
had named him "Black Bag" and I needed to sweeten it up a bit. He's actually got
quite a personality and is clearly the most playful cat I've had to date. Not even the
older kitties above were as playful when they were his age (about 21 months). He also
takes the best photos as you will see in future photos I plan to post! |

Well this is a start to my new Pet Photo Gallery! I will be adding more photos, but I have
to get to bed right now as the holiday vacation is over and I gotta go to work in the AM!
Thanks for visiting and may all your dreams come true in the New Millennium or the last
year of the Old Millennium (depending on your opinion)!
