Amanda Evinger

Amanda Evinger is from Arkansas City, KS. I was fortunate enough to live next door to Amanda for most of my life, and Amanda eventually started attending shows with me. Before Poca Little Straw's retirement, this pair competed quite successfully. You can see Suzi's page here.

Amanda and Suzi competed on the Kansas Saddle Horse Association circuit as well as PHBA youth classes. Some of their successes include winning the 2000 KSHA high point awards in Youth Western Pleasure and Reg. Quarter Horse Western Pleasure. Below is a picture of Amanda and Suzi. This was after their showmanship win at a large all-breed KSHA show in Wichita, KS.

Amanda is now married to Mike Evinger and they have a daughter, Lily. Courtesy of "Aunt Kathy," Lily had her first pair of spurs at 3 months of age. Look forward to seeing Lily in leadline someday soon!
