LATEST NEWS: Suzi has returned to the show ring! At age 17, she has earned her first AQHA points! These top two photos are of Suzi and Kathy at the Redbud Spectacular in June, 2005!
This page is all about Poca Little Straw, or Suzi. Suzi is a 1988 PHBA/AQHA mare. She was my horse through a lease agreement (for the full story, please see Ken's Sunny's page) back in 1995. Now, after a few years as a cow pony and lesson horse, she is back as a permanent resident of Sun~Fire Farms!
Suzi has accomplished a great deal in her show career. She has PHBA points in Senior Pleasure, Youth Western Pleasure, Youth Hunt Seat Equitation, Youth Road Hack, Amateur Showmanship, Nov Am Pleasure, and Nov Am Showmanship! She also has AQHA points in Nov Am Showmanship!
Suzi also helped several youth exhibitors win blue ribbons. Please check out Amanda's page to read more about my favorite student and good friend, who showed Suzi in youth and open classes in KSHA and PHBA.
I bred Suzi in hopes of getting a baby with as much talent and sense as she has, and I believe I was successful! I look forward to showing the next generation!
