Hi! Welcome to Kat's page.

I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) with a degree in Agriculture Education. However, I am one of the zillions of people who don't work in their degree field. For the past two years, I have worked as a content writer for a division of Thomson Learning called the NETg Business and Professional Development Library. We developed corporate training software that businesses use to train their employees and managers on things like communication, sales, leadership, financial management, and so on. Unfortunately, on Tuesday, April 9 (forever known as Black Tuesday), 2002, we were informed that the Wichita office would be closed down and all US training programs will now be produced in Ireland. I loved our little place here in Wichita and the people I worked with, and I wish everyone the best in finding new jobs. I hope to find something that will allow me to stay in Wichita that will allow me to use my writing and/or editing skills, but a move may be in my future.
