I am an avid fan of
the Show Dark Shadows. I have several webpages dedicated to it
and I love visiting other site which it is the subject of.
My other interests
is in IRC chat system and popups. I have collected many and have
a webpage with the best of my best on there for downloading. I
have made numerous friends on the IRC chat service and would
invite anyone who loves to chat, to download the application.
- Dark Shadows
- Was a soap
opera that ran from June 1966 untill April 1971. It was a
unique and fun soap opera to see. They delved into such
things as vampires, witches, werewolves, and ghosts. And
they also did quite a bit of time traveling. If you ever
want to see a very good, extraordinary soap opera, that
is completely different than any other ever, then Dark
Shadows is one you must watch. It is currently on the Sci-Fi
channel, at 11 am daily, M-F.
- Popups
- Popups are
colorful drawings and sayings one can use while on the
IRC chat servers. They add something different to chat.
They can sometimes say what you are feeling, by using a
simple click of your mouse. I have been IRCing for 2
years now and still find it very relaxing and fun, while
chatting. Once a person "gets into" popups, it
is like an addiction, and you just want more of them!
There are numerous sites with these lovely litte drawings,
and I am just one of the many who has a site for them. if
you have mIRC, then you will want to go to my popup site
and download a few. You won't be disappointed..
- mIRC
- miRC
is the IRC chat client I prefer. There are others, such
as Pirch, VIRC, and some with mIRC as it's base, but
built up with even more interesting mechanisms to
accentuate your IRC pleasure. But for me, I choose the
mIRC one. I have included a link to the main mIRC client
service page, for easy downloading of this program. If
you never tried it before, then I suggest you use the
mIRC one to begin with. it is theeasiest to configure,
for me.
- Mailing Lists
- I
belong to many mailing list, and find them all very
intersting. Of course the main ones I do belong to are
Dark Shadows related, but the others are just as
interesting to me. They are as follows: Shadows@ece.uwaterloo.ca,
- Barnabas-Quentin@onelist.com, Angelique-Addicts@onelist.com, Collins-Library@onelist.com, vamp-l@ListService.net,
- and ringmasters-l@webring.org. As you can
tell, I am into vampires and Dark Shadows related things.
But also, I enjoy learning so much from the ringmasters
too.
