In the last couple of years, a new interest on the subject of angels has developed. What is the sudden fascination with those ethereal, spiritual beings called angels? Some believe it’s because we’re moving towards a new millennium and a spiritual uprising is taking place.

Angels have been in existence since the world was created. Although, it is not known exactly when angels were created. According to the Bible, angels have five basic functions. One, of which, is to act as our guardians.

But, is it just the "heavenly" angels that are among us, acting as our guardians? I don’t think so. I do believe we have *earth* angels. And, I don’t mean spiritual beings walking around in human form. I mean your everyday, average human being. A person who puts others before himself/herself. A person who is there during the good times, the bad times and the in between times. A person who has touched your life in a special way. I know I have been blessed with Earth Angels throughout my life.

Two Earth Angels who have touched the hearts and lives of many. May the light of their spirit shine on brightly.
