Did you go on an exchange with AFS and you have a personal website that showcases your exchange? Are you a family which has hosted a student with AFS and has a personal website about the experience? Are you a volunteer with AFS and have a personal website describing your great experiences?
Then this is a webring for you!
What is a webring you ask. For those of you who don't know what a webring is it is a way sites of similar content can be linked together allowing the surfer to travel from site to site in one continuous path travelling all the way around until you get back to the site you started on. Webrings can also help to increase the traffic to your site so more people can see your great homepage.
If you are interested in joining the webring keep on reading.
Requirements for joining the webring
Your site must be a personal website telling viewers of your personal experience with an AFS exchange.
You can be an exchange student at present, a former exchange student, host family, or volunteer with AFS.
Your site doesn't need to be fancy with a ton of graphics and photos. It just has to discuss your experiences with AFS. To see what other sites are a part of this ring check these links: Random Site

List Sites.
Your site must be viewable by children. We want everyone to see what a great program AFS is and we can't have children accessing our sites if there is anything their parents won't approve of. We don't want to give AFS a bad name.
Your site must have the valid HTML fragment on it. You will receive a copy of the HTML fragment with a confirmation e-mail when you submit your site to this webring.
Your webring fragment can be on a webring page if you choose as long as it is easy to find the AFS information on your site, perhaps through a direct link. Otherwise your webring fragment should be on a page associated with your AFS experience. The only requirement is that the HTML fragment is located on the page with the same URL that you submit to the webring when you sign up.
You must save the graphic below to your own computer and then upload it to your server. Do not access the graphic through my website.
The ringmistress makes the decisions about whose sites are added to the webring. The ringmistress will check to ensure the HTML fragment is correct. If the HTML fragment has any errors your site will not be moved in to the ring until the corrections are made.
Does your site meet these requirements?
Then fill out the form below and submit it. You will then receive an e-mail with detailed information about the webring fragment, how to add it to your page, and how to get your site moved in to the ring.
