Simon Brown

Everyone searches for that one person who makes their life seem worth while. Well, for me this person is Simon. He's adorable, and affectionate.  He's sweet, sensative, and caring.  He's honorable, humourous and handsom.  Ever since I met Simon, my walk has had a bit more of a bounce to it, and I've felt like I have something to wake up to every morning.  I adore him for the way I feel, and the way he feels about me.

               LOVE

I love you,
Not only for what you are, But for what I am
When I am with you.

I love you,
Not only for what
you have made of yourself,
But for what
You are making of me.

I love you
For the part of me
That you bring out;
I love you
For putting your hand
Into my heaped-up heart
And passing over
All the foolish, weak things
That you can't help
Dimly seeing there,
And for drawing out
Into the light
All the beautiful belongings
That no one else had looked
Quite far enough to find.

I love you because you
Are helping me to make
Of the lumber of my life
Not a tavern
But a temple,
Out of the works
Of every day
Not a reproach
But a song
I love you
Because you have done
More than any creed
Could have done
To make me good,
And more then any fate
Could have done
To make me happy.

You have done it
Without a touch,
Without a word,
Without a sign.
You have done it
By being yourself.
Perhaps that is what
Being a friend means,
Aftrer all.

Simon is from the U.K., where he works as a Chef.  He lives with some really special mates, who I've had the pleasure of making their aquaintence. Here's a picture from his webpage, I _know_ I have approval to use this one. :)  Look at that smile :) Is it getting warm in here? aye carumba!

Simon adores roleplaying, especially Fantasy type things. I know he has a fascination for silver dragons, so I had to add a few onto his super de duper special page :)

                        You And I

My hand is lonely for your clasping, dear;
  My ear is tried waiting for your call.
I want your strength to help, your laugh to cheer;
  Heart, soul, and senses need you, one and all.
I droop without your full, franky sympathy;
  We ought to be together- you and I;
We want each other so, to comprehend
  The dream, the hope, things planned, or seen, or sought.
Companion, comforter and guide and friend,
  As much as love asks love, does thought ask thought.
Life is so sort, so fast the lone hours fly,
  We ought to be together, you and I.
                   -Henry Alford-

So, if you get to know me, you mise well get to know Simon, because I love him, and he means the world to me. :) Hopefully I'll make him as happy as he makes me and we can spend the rest of our lives celebrating our new found friendship.
