That it would end like this,
Then i never would have given you,
That very first kiss.
For thats when it all started,
Between myself and you,
But even then i should have known,
I would never do for you.
Your feelings have almost vanished,
And although we dont know just where,
Mine are still deep within me,
And you dont seem to care.
If you had told me a long time ago
That it would never last,
I would have taken it in stride,
And left it in the past.

But you didnt and i held on to what i truly thought was mine.
