THOUGHTS
Did you ever stop to wonder why,
God had made the earth and sky,
Or why he made the seas so blue,
Was it just for me and you.
Or why he made the trees so tall,
Or made the stars so bright,
Or why he made the day time,
Turn suddenly into night.
He gave us voices to sing like birds,
And ears to hear someones soft spoken words.
He gave us hearts so that we may love,
Sent down on the wings of his snowy dove.
He decides when a babe should be born,
Either late at night or early morn.
And when it is time for us to depart,
We will willingly go to please Gods heart.
His work was done, he had done his best,
Now on the seventh, he would rest.
He gave us a soul so that we may never loose sight of why we are here .
