Hi, my name is Rose. My friends online know me as
Rose2Hold. I would like to take a few minutes of your time to give you the basics of breast cancer. My
story to follow. Anyone suffering from any kind of
cancer, don't want pity, they need support, prayer,
and alot of love.

All cancer is bad, it takes so many loved ones away
from their families. There are so many things left
unsaid and feelings that can't be expressed, between
themselves and their loved ones, you never get the
chance to say, or express them before their time has
come to leave us, along with questions that remain
unanswered.
Why them??

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death
among women, the first being lung cancer and heart
disease, it is a tie. 80% of the cases of breast
cancer, there are no symptoms. Every 3 minutes
another woman is diagnosed with this disease. Every
12 minutes, a woman will die from this. Alarming, as
it may be, it is true, verified by the American
Cancer Society.

The probability of developing breast cancer in a
woman's life is 12.3% or 1 in 8. It increases with
age, family history, or lifestyle.
What I am trying to say is that you MUST take care of
yourself NOW and not when it's too late!!

Do the monthly exam on yourself in the shower, or
lying in bed before going to sleep. If something
doesn't feel right or pain is present, one breast is
larger than the other, any physical appearance in the shape, color of nipple, any discharge or blood, go
see your doctor. It may turn out to be nothing, or
they may send you for tests.
The tests may be a mammogram, sonogram, ultrasound,
chest x-ray, blood tests, or even a biopsy. They are
all virtually painless, but isn't it worth a piece of
mind?? More time spent with your loved ones?? More
time to live your life, to be able to do what you
have to or want to do?? I surely think so!!
Nutrition and stress management helps alot as well.
Treat yourself as the great woman that you are.
Become a survivor, not a statistic!!

Make the time to smell the roses along life's
journey, give yourself the time you need to live your life to the fullest. Your loved ones will thank you,
but when all is said and done, you will be glad that
you did, trust me, you are worth it, I am!!
Make the promise!!
Now, here is my story, I hope it helps someone out
there to have more strength and courage than I did!!
God Bless You All!!
