The Internet Love Affair

Why can't we say "I love you"?
Where do all the feelings go?
Why do they lose their meaning,
and their depth thru the years?
When did we decide we didn't need them anymore?
Whose decision was it to set them free?
I've begged you to help me and we'll both try harder.
Let's bring back those "Loving Feelings" but,
you are tired or you've had a rough day;
or...maybe "we are just too old to play".
You say you love me, But how can that be?
When you look at me...What do you see?
A tired worn woman, with time on her hands.
Yet she still needs to be loved and held by a man.

Love has not age, and or no limits you know.
I've been here beside you and watched the years go,
but the "love is dying"...without nourishment it can't grow
So...okay...it's fine watch the game..or flip thru the 'dish'
I'm going on the internet and making a wish.
I'll start very slowly, not something I'll rush.
I've been on the internet for months now it's true.
It's always my friend whether I am happy or blue.

You don't understand why it's important to me.
You feel 'no love', and you cannot see me.
I've had great times with my friends they are cool.
You get so angry and say "I'm a fool".
I am well educated and very well schooled.
You can't understand why I act like a fool.
I'll explain this to you the best that I can.
I'll put it into words I hope you'll understand.
You say I am old,undiserable and plain.
What man would want a simple 'plain jane'?
There's a man that says "you are wrong".
He says that I am desirable and alluring,
his love can grow strong.
He asks of me nothing, and he demands there are none.
He enjoys my company and thinks I am fun!

It started out harmless, but now it's begun.
My internet "Love Affair" is second to none!
In this age of cyber, and "not really there".
The love and the feelings;I've tried not to care!
I didn't think it could "touch me", it's not really there.
I Was wrong, for now I feel them, the feelings are strong.
They "really are there".

What is this feeling? Is it "Love" that I feel?
This wasn't suppose to happen they are not really there.
His love is so warm, sincere and caring.
It doesn't matter to him how I look or what I am wearing.
He loves me for "Me" the person he has met.
He loves me with his heart and soul "thru the internet".
He has made me believe that I have something to give.
A worth while woman and a purpose to live!
You think that I am crazy and that this is untrue.
This time you are "wrong" this 'internet' love is true!
You are loved in a way that is forgotten by all.
You confide in each other and it starts in your heart.
you tell each other of your most intimate desires.
Then you realize "there's a burning desire'.
You agree to touch and your souls and hearts meet.

I can not explain it; there are no words to compare..
I feel him all around me, and I feel that he's there!
He holds me in his arms, love me and cares.
He satisfies my desires and the fantasies we shared.
He tells me he loves me and kisses my cheek.
We shared all the intimacies and yet didn't speak.
He's taken the time to know me, and taken me by the hand,
and loved me like no other...this man,"my internet lover".
So whether you are a man or a woman,
this letter holds true; be assured my friends,
if there's no love at home and, you've done all that you can do...
turn on the internet...but don't be surprised...
that the majority of us are "Husband and Wives"!
This wasn't suppose to happen,
but when there's no love in your life:
I tried to talk to 'My husband' and, you tried to talk to your 'Wife'.
You need to know "we" love you, but when we feel no love at home.
Our hearts are weighing heavy, and they may begin to roam.
"You" have the power to stop this!
Just love "me" in our home or, if you turn on the internet,
to your surprise, you might see......
"Needed someone to love" and, it'll be signed by "Me"!
I'll truly love you!
